Paris July 6…For me Valentino was hands down the most exquisite of the shows. Style.com hailed it “A mood board methodically arranged with haunting pictures of the last tsar’s family and their lost world cued the fairy-tale princess feel of Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli’s new couture collection for Valentino.”
I was flicking through ‘The Fashion Book’, when I came across Boue Soeurs. The Paris couture house flourished at the beginning of the twentieth century. Below are the most exquisite pair of gripoix Chanel earrings, possibly late 1970’s early 1980’s, from Nina Polli Vintage.
It seems summer has at last arrived in London, and I was just becoming accustomed to seeing the autumn collections in the shops, but I refuse to succumb when there is still a chance for some sunny days ahead. Photos for Muse magazine by Tim Barber make me smile! And there is a movie to go along with it too!
