It seems summer has at last arrived in London, and I was just becoming accustomed to seeing the autumn collections in the shops, but I refuse to succumb when there is still a chance for some sunny days ahead. Photos for Muse magazine by Tim Barber make me smile! And there is a movie to go along with it too!
Beautiful photographs by Lena Modigh. Love the soft colours and light. They almost look like paintings, remind me of Alison Watt’s fabric paintings…
Its time to start looking forward to balmy evenings, summer dresses, the heat of the sun and the smell of the ocean…Below are a couple of new pieces from Nina Polli Vintage, a very pretty blue enamel Givenchy bracelet and a gorgeous mother of pearl Chanel camelia pendant brooch. Stunning photographs from Billy Kidd. Check out his blog here.
I have long been a fan of Nan Goldin’s photography, her breathtakingly honest photographs blur the boundaries between art and photography. Seeing her making more and more of a mark on the world of fashion, is so inspring, her gritty realism attaining a softer edge in the process. Above is a gorgeous campaign for Bottega Veneta SS 2010, a recent campaign with Erin Wasson, an editorial with Lara Stone for French Vogue Feb 2010 (styled by Anastasia Barbieri) and finally one of her non fashion photos.
Below is the most gorgeous vintage Bottega Veneta bag from Nina Polli Vintage Shop.
